Note: House price to income ratio is the ratio of median house prices to median annual disposable net wage, expressed as years of income. Median house price and median wages are taken on the basis of a sample of cities inside the country. For example, Ukraine is assessed on the basis of 16 cities, including all major oblast centers. For Russia, Poland and the USA, the number of surveyed cities is 24, 22, and around 240 cities, respectively. Source: Komarov ([2012], Figure 3.1).
