Other sample restrictions described in Appendix A Data definitions. Excludes person-years corresponding to Wave 5 for which fraudulent fieldwork suspected. Sample sizes are raw counts, with survey-weighted means reported in remaining columns. Vocational secondary includes technical colleges and National Training Certificate (NTC) programs. Vocational post-secondary includes universities of technology. “High ability” refers to scoring above full sample age-adjusted median score on literacy and numeracy evaluation administered in Wave 1. Household income quintiles based on Wave 1 data.
